More than a story to tell! Day 1

1 Corinthians 2:13 New International Version (NIV)

13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.

I was listening to a podcast a few days ago, and the guest speaker was talking about the power of storytelling. It literally made me think of my blog`s tagline. `I believe that everyone has a story to share, and we never know when our words may inspire someone.`

This led me to reflect on how much the Word of God is a powerful collection of different stories from Genesis to Revelation. As we read Bible stories, we gain valuable insight into past experiences; we learn from others and witness God intervening to save his children.

There is power in all the stories that are told in the Bible and as His children, I encourage you to be in a place of surrender to receive the message that God has for us every time we read, study, reflect and confess His Word in our lives.

As we read through different stories that I will share over the next three days, I hope that God will reveal Himself to you in a special way. I also encourage you to keep track in a notebook or journal of all the stories God is writing through you to bless others.

Today`s passage:

The Beginning - Genesis 1 & 2.
