A humble Christmas! Advent 2020 Day 8

Updated: Dec 13, 2020

Advent Scripture reading Day 8. December 6th

32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”(NIV)

As we light up the Hope Candle, let us ask ourselves what is our hope?

Let us pause and spend some time meditating on these verses.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain

Reflecting on the humble King born in a manger!

Jesus humbled himself when He came to us as a baby, showing us a lot about humility. This Christmas season, let us seek God and ask Him to show us more about this humility.

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.
