Advent Scripture reading Day 11. Wednesday December 9th
38“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.(NIV)
Reflecting on the humble King born in a manger!
Jesus humbled himself when He came to us as a baby, showing us a lot about humility. This Christmas season, let us seek God and ask Him to show us more about this humility.
When the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, this word of the Lord came to Shemaiah: “Since they have humbled themselves, I will not destroy them but will soon give them deliverance. My wrath will not be poured out on Jerusalem through Shishak.
