Hello friends!

A few years ago, my home church in Mauritius welcomed a few youths from YWAM. During the days we spent together, we did a lot of things, but one of the moments that deeply touched me was an improvised worship time after supper. It was their last evening in Mauritius, and we were celebrating all God had done through them.
Amidst all the laughter, the joy, and the talk, someone picked up his guitar and started singing...
'Your love is extravagant...
Your friendship, hmm, intimate...

That was the first time I heard that song. I was moved and amazed at how God's message of love was conveyed through it. It made me realize how much He loves and wants to spend time with us. Since then, this song has become a great reminder of God's love for me.
Yes, God is love!
Through this song and these few words I am sharing today, I would like to remind each one of you that God is love. He cares for you and me and is concerned with what you are going through right now. Today, He wants you to be reminded of His extravagant love for you.
I invite you to meditate on the few verses below and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to you in a special way this morning.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.
and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
1 John 4:9 (ESV) In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
John 15:13 (ESV) Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
