It’s been 52 weeks since the beginning of my journey with cancer. One full year of a life that, in so many ways, looks very different from the one I was living before.

As this milestone approached, I thought I’d turn the tables and ask people a simple question: If you could ask me one question about my experience, what would it be?

The questions I’ve received have been thoughtful, honest, and sometimes deeply personal. And it struck me that they probably reflect many of the questions people have when someone they know is going through cancer.

So, here we go!

I’d like to share some of these questions and my answers. Not because I have all the answers, but because I believe there is value in talking openly about the things we don’t always know how to ask, the experiences we don’t always know how to understand, and the lessons that can only come from living through them.

This is my experience, my perspective, and my voice. 🌸
