Becoming Her

There was a time when she was weak. She allowed others to crush her spirit, mistook silence for peace, and accepted mistreatment as love. She lived with low self-esteem for so long that it became familiar, and she wore her pain like a hidden garment. Sickness lingered in her body and sadness in her mind, yet she told herself, “This is just how life is.”
But God never intended for her to live that way. Little by little, He began stirring something inside her, a holy dissatisfaction with the life she was settling for. She began to glimpse who she was meant to be.
“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14) became more than a verse; it became her reminder of identity.
It wasn’t an instant transformation. Strength didn’t arrive in one dramatic moment. It came through small, daily choices. She learned to say “no” without guilt, to care for her body as God’s temple, and to stop handing her peace to people who didn’t protect it. She stopped calling pain normal, and she began to speak life over herself.
Every time she prayed through her tears instead of giving up, she became stronger. Every time she forgave instead of staying bitter, she became freer. Every time she took a step toward healing, she drew closer to the woman God designed her to be. It wasn’t easy, but she remembered this truth: “God is within her, she will not fall” (Psalm 46:5).
Now, she walks differently. She no longer bows to fear or shame. Her strength isn’t built on pride or hardness; it's grounded in grace. She is kind, yet firm. Gentle, yet powerful. She knows her worth because God defined it. And every scar that once brought her shame now tells a story of resilience and redemption.
A strong woman isn’t the one who has no battles left; she’s the one who’s found her footing in them. She leans not on her own understanding but on every word that reminds her she is chosen, loved, and called for purpose.
She was once weak.
But now she lives in the strength of the One who restored her soul.

As Isaiah 40:31 promises, “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
And that woman is me.
If this story resonates with you, if you feel God stirring something inside you, too, you don’t have to walk this journey alone.
Through my coaching, I help women reconnect with their God-given identity, heal what has been normalized for too long, and step into the woman they were always meant to be.
Becoming her is possible. And I would be honoured to walk with you.
With love,
Emmanuella
