It will be almost a year since COVID 19 hit the whole world. Some of us lost loved ones because of COVID, crowded hospitals brought an incredible load of work on our health care workers, a lot of pressure were put on all other essential workers and the list goes on.

But maybe today, you just feel emotionally tired. All the adjustments you made and all the times you stepped out of your comfort zone have drained you. You were so busy adapting to the continuous changes made in your daily routines, that now after almost a year, you feel tired.

My friends, I would like to remind you that our Lord and Father wants to renew your strength and make you soar like an eagle.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31 KJV

Whatever we might have to say about 2020, God is Sovereign. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, and yes He reigns!

We might think that 2020 is a lost year, but this is a lie. Why? Because God has been in control, and He will be on our side in all the seasons of our lives. He is In Control! He is Yahweh! The Great I am!
