6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Hello friends and Happy Monday!
I hope you had a nice week and were able to experience eucharisteo. For those of you who missed last week's post, you can access it at the end of this post to find the explanation on eucharisteo.
A few weeks ago, my friend's son left home without his phone and without saying where he was going. A few hours went by, the mom knew something was wrong and she decided to update her Facebook status with the most awful status - My son is missing!
As soon we received the Facebook notification, everyone re-shared her post several times, while others went on the street looking for him. A mother's heart was crying, desperately looking for her son and hoping for the best while thinking of what could happen. I will not go into more details, but after several very long hours, he was found. Yes. He was found! And this time, all the family and friends shared the good news on Facebook. The good news is that he was found.

My question to you today, is how can we experience eucharisteo when going through so much pain?
It is very difficult to give thanks when our voice can barely speak. When the hurt is very real and we cannot seem to be able to face another day, it is indeed very much hard for us to stop and go to the Lord with a grateful heart.
The world around us is broken. People are suffering. All of us indistinctly, go through seasons of pain, loss, and heartaches of all kinds. But one thing is sure, our God knows it all and carries us through these times and He has the power to deliver us from any pain.
Even though the hurt seems to be almost tangible, we have a lot to be grateful for. Let us not allow the situation around us to tell us that it is all lost. We have a God who opened the sea and can do it again. Let us raise our voices and proclaim who He is and trust that He knows it all and will deliver. Let us confess victory, deliverance, freedom, and all the good things our Father has for us.
As you listen to this song, may your heart overflow with thankfulness!
