Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
I don't know of anyone who does not want to be successful in life.
We want to succeed.
We want to win.
We want more.
Everywhere we look, people want to accomplish great things in all areas of their lives, but unfortunately, this appetite for success never gets satisfied because our definition of success does not have anything to do with how God views success for us. The size of our accomplishments is typically measured by how much money we have, what we own, and what we achieve in our careers, and we spend more and more time accumulating them.
Our verse for today and the scriptures teach us that God wants us to prosper, and He desires the best for us. Let us seek the will of God for this year by sitting still before Him and listening to His voice. Rather than rushing into making plans for 2024, follow God's lead and move step by step.
Allow God to open your heart's eyes by spending some time in worship and prayer, and I will leave you here with a few verses and songs that I hope will strengthen your relationship with God.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4:23 NIV

“Now, my son, the Lord be with you, and may you have success and build the house of the Lord your God, as he said you would. May the Lord give you discretion and understanding when he puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God. Then you will have success if you are careful to observe the decrees and laws that the Lord gave Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.
