Exodus 40:1-10
New International Version
Setting Up the Tabernacle
40 Then the Lord said to Moses: 2 “Set up the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, on the first day of the first month. 3 Place the ark of the covenant law in it and shield the ark with the curtain. 4 Bring in the table and set out what belongs on it. Then bring in the lampstand and set up its lamps. 5 Place the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the covenant law and put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.
What was God referring to when He mentioned the testimony in Exodus?
The testimony refers to the law, the Ten Commandments, that was kept in the Ark. It was the Ten Commandments written by God on two tablets of stone. Exodus 31:18 says, `When the Lord finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the covenant law, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.`(NIV).

It amazes me to see how God chose to give the Ten Commandments. He could have said it and had Moses write it himself. But He chose to write it personally. This shows us how much our God, our Father, wants an intimate relationship with His children. What God wrote together with the collection of stories that several people have recorded since ancient times, is of great value.
It is for this reason that I urge you today to keep track of: a life experience, a prayer request, an answered prayer, a circumstance or experience that we went through. Because you never know when God will tell you to share of your experience for someone else's benefit.
We can make a difference with our words. Storytelling is powerful. Let us not let the evil one silence us. Let us embrace God's mighty work through us. Let us be a living testimony to bless others.

Today`s reading:
