Welcoming 2025 with Faith, Reflection, and Purpose

Happy New Year, dear friends!

As we begin this new chapter in 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that we’ve experienced in 2024 and look ahead with a heart full of anticipation. This is not a time for pressure or perfect resolutions but a time for embracing the journey, trusting in God’s plan, and stepping into the fullness of who He created us to be.

Reflecting on 2024: Seeing God’s Faithfulness

The past year has undoubtedly been filled with moments of joy, challenges, and growth. As we reflect on the blessings and lessons of 2024, I invite you to pause and consider the ways in which God has shown His faithfulness in your life.

• What lessons did you learn in 2024 that you’ll carry forward?

• How did you see God working in unexpected places?

In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, we are reminded:

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Even in the challenging times, there is so much to be grateful for. When we look back through the lens of gratitude, we recognize that each moment, whether high or low, has been a part of our journey of growth.

Looking Toward 2025: Trusting God’s Plan

Instead of setting resolutions, let’s align our hearts with God’s plans. Rather than setting rigid resolutions, let’s turn our eyes to trusting God’s plan for us in 2025. What if, instead of striving for perfection, we focused on growth, trust, and leaning into His promises?

• What small, meaningful steps can I take to walk in alignment with His purpose for me?

In Proverbs 3:5-6, we’re reminded of the importance of trust:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

As you journey into 2025, trust that God is already ahead of you, preparing the way. Your steps may not always be easy, but His presence will guide and strengthen you each day.

A Prayer for the New Year

“Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness in 2024. We trust You with our past, and we give You our future. As we begin this new year, may we walk boldly in the purpose You’ve set before us. Help us to trust You in all things and to live with hearts full of gratitude, growth, and grace. May 2025 be a year where we step into Your promises and shine with the light You’ve placed inside of us.” Amen!!
